Annual festival ‘Friendship with no limits’ on August 25,2018
Long time ago there were 15 republics of the Soviet Union which existed from 1956 to 1991. After the Soviet Union demise each of those counties became an independent state but that fact didn’t stop our peoples from keeping their great multinational friendship with its various cultural inheritance.
An idea of the festival is to save and to grow a part of cultural legacy of post-Soviet Russian-speaking countries in Canada. We wish to demonstrate all the variety and beauty not only our children but English-speaking citizens of Vancouver and its environs.
Every year the festival program includes:
- Kaleidoscope of cultures in national costumes
- National local cooking
- Live concert with a rich program with national songs and dance
- Crafts and souvenirs
- Art expositions
- Kids program
Every year we gather representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Estonia.
